How to beat the clock on planning rule changes and transform an unviable, dated permit into a commercially deliverable, little gem of a project.
PPP's Outcome
PPP’s involvement was a game changer for this project. The integration of a quickfire permit extension and permit amendment combined with legal advice regarding easements, rule changes and transitional provisions, and the use of an old permit enabled our client to circumvent restrictive new mandatory controls. This was supported by urban context guidance essential to winning Council support for building height and setbacks otherwise now prohibited by the planning scheme – no VCAT required and a 14 storey building height outcome that literally cannot be repeated.
